No. In New World: Aeternum, your character(s) are locked to the platform you create them on. For example, if you create a character on PlayStation 5, you will not be able to access/play that character on Xbox Series X|S or Steam (PC) walking on a dream vinyl.

You can text and voice chat with other players in-game, but we want to make sure you have the tools to connect with other players, and our team, outside of the game. Below you will find ways to connect with the New World: Aeternum community, plus how to get involved if you’re interested in joining our Creator program.

This enhanced version of our thrilling action RPG is a fresh and compelling experience for both PC and console players. Game 5 world series 2024

Crowds gathered Wednesday night near L.A. Live to celebrate, at times setting off fireworks. The Los Angeles Police Department issued a dispersal order, but it took several hours to clear the streets.

“We just took advantage of every mistake that they made that inning,” Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández said of the fifth. “We put some good at-bats together. We put the ball in play. A lot of people say ‘when you put the ball in play, things might happen.’ It happened to us in that inning, and we scored five runs.”

The battle of superteams and superstars went to the Dodgers and Ohtani. He won his first World Series, even as he barely contributed. Freeman tormented Yankees pitchers all series, and he was the clear MVP. Tommy Edman, acquired at the trade deadline, followed his NL Championship Series MVP performance with another excellent showing. Teoscar Hernandez was clutch too.

9:05 p.m. — STANTON DOES IT! He hits the Yankees’ third home run of the game and becomes the first franchise player to hit seven postseason runs in the same year. He is now tied with Mantle for third all time with 18 total.

Kahnle allowed a Kike Hernandez single to left, a Tommy Edman infield single and a Will Smith walk that loaded the bases with no outs and the Yankees holding a slim 6-5 lead. Luke Weaver came in for Kahnle, making it the third straight day he pitched, the first such stretch of his career.

All five runs that inning were unearned, leaving Cole with a very unusual pitching line: 6 ⅔ IP, 4 H, 5 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 6 K on a season-high 108 pitches. Cole took a no-hitter into the fifth inning! He pitched very well in every inning except the fifth, but that one counts, so five (unearned) runs are on his ledger. Mostly though, blame the defense. The Yankees constantly make life hard on themselves. In Game 5, that meant giving the Dodgers a six-out inning.

Giancarlo Stanton wants a World Series ring, and he’s doing everything he can to drag the Yankees across the finish line. The ALCS MVP hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead. The Dodgers let Jack Flaherty go through the middle of the lineup a third time, then Soto singled and Stanton hit an absolute moonshot. Look at this blast:

“We played that team really well for the whole entire game,” Yankees left fielder Alex Verdugo said. “At the end of the day, we’re the two best teams out here, so we’re going to come here with our heads held up high, with confidence, and go out here and compete again.”

All Cole allowed in six-plus scoreless innings was a Will Smith sacrifice fly after a Kiké Hernández triple in the fifth. Flaherty’s lone mistake in 5 1/3 innings was to a guy who has been punishing pitcher mistakes all postseason, as ALCS MVP Giancarlo Stanton took him deep with a two-run, 412-foot homer in the sixth to give the Yankees a 2-1 lead.

Moments after his error, Torres sparked the most interesting “defensive play” of the evening, when his long fly ball to left-center in the top of the ninth found the glove of a fan positioned at the wall in the pavilion seats. Because the fan had clearly reached over the wall to make the snag, it was ruled — and upheld on replay review — a ground-rule double rather than a go-ahead homer. In a gutsy move, the Dodgers intentionally walked Soto to face Aaron Judge with two aboard, and Blake Treinen came on to get Judge to harmlessly pop out to end the inning.

Flaherty got Stanton to swing over top of a curveball in a similar spot earlier in the at-bat. He tried it again, but left that one up just enough, and Stanton golfed it out. It is sort of remarkable how Stanton will look silly on a pitch, get it again, then hit out of the ballpark. He’s on everything right now. Make a mistake, and it’s in the seats.
